Extra requirements for e-commerce
The service provider must provide information on the accessibility of products and services in its online shop if the information has been provided by the economic operator responsible for those products and services, for example, the manufacturer or importer.
Additional requirements relating to the accessibility statement
It's not enough to just have an accessibility statement. If the digital service doesn't meet the accessibility requirements, the service provider must inform the supervisory authority of the shortcomings in compliance and the corrective measures the provider intends to take.
